Spricht man von Lindau im (!) Bodensee, so meinen viele Menschen, Lindau besteht nur aus der Insel. Doch auch auf dem „Festland“ finden sich durchaus schöne Motive.
Wenn man dort wohnt, wo andere Urlaub machen, ist es bisweilen schwierig keine „Allerwelts“-Fotos ohne viele Menschen zu machen. Der große Vorteil der Einheimischen besteht aber darin, dass wir – zumindes theoretisch – jederzeit wiederkommen können und z. B. uns die gewünschten Wetterverhältnisse aussuchen können.

Many people are speaking of Lindau island in Lake Constanze as if Lindau only consisted of the island. Yet on the „mainland“ a lot of pretty motivs can be found.
Living in an area where others enjoy their holiday makes it difficult not to shoot any pictures without many people on it. But the biggest advantage of being local is that one can come back whenever you like and whatever weather or touristic conditions you like.
