2005 haben wir Griechenland besucht, von Venedig ging es mit der Fähre durch die Adria bis nach Patras in Griechenland (damals war der Hafen von Patras noch nicht von den Chinesen gekauft, zudem gab es Minoan Lines und Anek Lines, welche die Strecke bedient haben, heute (2023) gibt es nur noch Anek Superfast Lines). Dort haben wir von Loutraki (am Ende des Golf/Kanal von Korinth gelegen) viele antike Stätten, z. B. Delphi, Korinth, Nafplio. Wegen der damals vorherrschenden starken Hitze haben wir uns Athen gespart. Ganz besonders hat uns das Museum in Delphi gefallen, welches unter anderem den Wagenlenker von Delphi und das Museum in Mykene (mit Kopie der Goldmaske des Agamemnons).
In 2005 we visited Greece, from Venice we went by ferry through the Adriatic Sea to Patras in Greece (at that time the port of Patras was not yet bought by the Chinese, besides, there were Minoan Lines and Anek Lines that served the route, today (2023) there is only Anek Superfast Lines). There we have from Loutraki (located at the end of the Gulf/Canal of Corinth) many ancient sites, eg Delphi, Corinth, Nafplio. Because of the prevailing strong heat at that time, we skipped a visit to Athens. We especially liked the museum in Delphi, which has among other things the charioteer of Delphi and the museum in Mycenae (eg with copy of the gold mask of Agamemnon).
